About galaxies.im
A galaxy hub from REALLYBYTE, based in the Isle of Man.
galaxies.im is a galaxy hub from REALLYBYTE, based in the Isle of Man. It is for families, classrooms and anyone who likes looking up at night. Each topic will get its own little site, built by hand and fact-checked against expert sources such as NASA and Encyclopaedia Britannica.
Not the planets. The planets and moons of our solar system have their own hub, planets.im. galaxies.im covers what lies beyond, from the Milky Way to distant quasars.
Not official. galaxies.im is independent. It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, NASA, Britannica or any other organisation it mentions.
Distances and ages in astronomy are scientists’ best estimates and can change as new measurements are made. The pictures on this site are our own drawings.
